ACRYLIC RESURFACER
Acrylic Resurfacer is ideal for smooth finishes on recreational sports courts. It fills rough areas and minor cracks or surface depressions. Once applied, this versatile material dries to a firm, hard film that can be scraped and sanded, preparing it perfectly for subsequent layers of acrylic color surfacing coats. This layer ensures better adhesion, surface uniformity, and long life for the final sports flooring system.

SURFACE LEVELING Acrylic LAYER
Sports court restoration using Pacecourt top quality Acrylic Resurfacer. The special formula flattens cracks and any surface bumps to provide a smooth and even base of the acrylic coatings. It offers excellent grip, bright finish and long life to all games.

HOW TO USE ACRYLIC RESURFACER
Pacecourt’s Acrylic Resurfacer is the key layer before applying color coatings on the sport court surface. It smooths out surface roughness, fills in minor cracks, and creates a uniform texture for better topcoat adhesion and long-term performance.
Surface Inspection & Preparation
Ensure that the base of the concrete or asphalt is clean, dry and not dusty, oily, greasy or loose. Repair any cracks, depressions or scars and then apply the product. A properly prepared and smooth surface allows the acrylic resurfacer to adhere well and forms a smooth and even layer of the surface on which the court is to be placed.
Material Mixing
Add the acrylic resurfacer and clean water together with the graded silica sand at the recommended ratio. Mix thoroughly to obtain a lump-free, smooth and uniform mixture. Mixing is done properly to achieve balanced texture, better leveling of the surface and high bonding to the underlying surface.
Application
Use a rubber squeegee to apply the resurfacer mixture across the whole court surface spreading it evenly. Apply work in an even direction to achieve even thickness and texture. This coating is used to even out small surface flaws and the court is then ready to be overlaid with cushion or colour.
Curing Time
Allow the resurfacer layer to dry fully then apply cushion coats or acrylic color coats. Depending on the weather conditions, the duration may vary depending on the temperature or humidity but the surface must be very dry and hard to ensure that the layers adhere firm and prolonged.
