HOW TO USE COLOR COAT
Pacecourt Color Coat is a 100% acrylic, wear-resistant emulsion infused with vibrant pigments and high-performance polymers. It offers exceptional durability, outstanding aesthetics and enhanced playability suitable for tennis, basketball, pickleball and multi-sport courts. It’s an environmentally conscious choice too, free from asbestos, lead, and mercury.
Surface Preparation
Always be sure that the surface is clean, dry and a layer of Cushion Coat or Acrylic Resurfacer is applied, before applying the Color Coat. Seal all minor cracks and ensure that the layer at the bottom is completely dry. This is because the surface is smooth and steady and allows the color coating to adhere and provide a smooth finish that is distinguishable and clear.
Material Mixing
Graded silica sand and Color Coat concentrate are mixed with clear water and stirred in accordance with the given directions. Blend thoroughly till the mixture is free of lumps. Even color, good texture and consistent traction are achieved through good mixing.
Application
Pour the mixture in thin layers in a steady form using a light rubber squeegee. Maintain the same direction in order to make the thickness and texture even. This coat enhances a court appearance, prevents UV and makes the play enjoyable to play on and provides an aesthetic look.
Curing Time
Allow one coat to dry up before applying the next one. Drying time may vary depending upon the temperature and also the humidity. Ensure that the surface is completely dry and hard before you trace the lines or the court is opened to play so that the colour would remain permanent and the colour not to fade.
