professional sports court planning process
Concrete bases are suitable for professional and multi-purpose court installations because its rigid stable platform bases offer excellent strength and long-term durability.
Asphalt bases, on the other hand, provide some flexibility so that they can accommodate minor movement of the ground and temperature, which is especially desirable in the case of outdoor courts.
Both surfaces must be properly cured, leveled, and prepared to ensure optimum bonding with acrylic primer, resurfacer, cushion and color coating systems. A properly prepared surface base directly impacts the aspects of playability, surface uniformity, drainage quality and overall life of the sports flooring system.
