CUSHION COAT
Cushion Coat is a high-performance, multi-layered surface system that reduces player discomfort and impact on the lower body during sports activities. By absorbing shock, it provides a smoother and more enjoyable playing experience, especially for high-impact sports like tennis and basketball. This coating improves safety and extends playability on the court. For best results, the Cushion Coat must be applied to a properly prepared concrete or asphalt substrate for durability, performance and long-lasting surface protection.

player comfort - CUSHION Layer
The Cushion Coat offered by Pacecourt provides a plush layer beneath the acrylic layer that provides much comfort, superior bouncing, and safer play. It is manufactured in recreational and professional courts.

How to Use Pacecourt Cushion Coat
Surface Inspection & Preparation
Begin with a clean and dry well prepared surface. Make sure to repair any serious cracks, structural damages or discontinuities before applying the coating. Ensure that the underneath is complete concrete or asphalt to ensure that cushion coat will adhere properly and the surface remains stable over a long period.
Material Mixing
Combine thoroughly with the Cushion Coat material and apply it with the proportion of water and silica sand, where necessary. Blend until a smooth even and lump-free viscosity is attained. The cushioning performance and uniformity of shock absorption throughout the court is guaranteed by proper mixing.
Application
Apply cushion coat by thin layers, evenly over the entire cushion surface with a flexible rubber squeegee over which you can exercise control. The thickness should be uniform everywhere to ensure that the surface is elastic and comfortable. Normally, it is painted in two or three layers, depending on the amount of cushioning required and the court regulations.
Curing Time
Allow one cushion coat layer to dry before applying the next coat. The time of drying may vary with temperature and humidity. Before applying acrylic color or topcoat, make sure that the surface is completely dry and prepared to be touched, or it will not last long.
