How to use Pacecourt Silica Sand
Pacecourt Silica Sand is a high-purity, fine-graded material used to improve the performance, texture, and longevity of acrylic sport flooring systems. It enhances grip, adds surface texture, and contributes to consistent game speed on tennis, basketball, and multi-sport courts.
Selection
Choose the appropriate mesh size of Pacecourt Silica Sand based on the surface texture and level of traction needed for your court application.
Material Mixing
Add the recommended amount of silica sand to acrylic resurfacer, cushion coat, or color coat. Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution and to avoid clumping.
Application
Apply the sand-blended mixture evenly using a rubber squeegee or suitable applicator. The sand helps to create a textured, anti-slip surface.
Curing Time
Allow the applied surface to cure completely before adding additional coats or opening the court for use. Curing times depend on weather conditions.
