Product Description

Pacecourt colour coat is a wear-resistance, 100% acrylic color emulsion consisting of brilliant pigments and quality polymers that are blended into a highly concentrated form. Pacecourt colour coat does not contain any asbestos, lead, or mercury. An excellent advantage of the pacecourt colour coat product is that it can used for both the texture and finish coats, by job-mixing with water and/or silica sand to achieve the desired surface texture and speed of play. Pacecourt colour coat concentrate can applied to asphalt or properly prepared concrete for the protection and beautification of many recreational surfaces, including tennis courts, basketball court, playgrounds handball courts, paddle tennis court etc.

Surface Preparation

The existing surface shall be clean, free from all dirt, dust and foreign debris, and shall be dry. New asphalt and concrete should allowed a 30-day curing period before applying and coatings. If the Pacecourt colour coat is to applied over concrete, please refer to the pacecourt concrete primer application sheet. Prior to the application of any coatings, the entire area should flooded with water and checked for depressions of 1/16″ or greater. Depressions shall levelled using a pacecourt depression filler mix.

Installation

When adding water and/or silica sand, the Pacecourt colour coat must then be mixed thoroughly until the material is consistent. The amount and x=sixe of sand may be varied to achieve different textures and filling properties. Larger sand will slow the speed of play. The mixed product shall applied to the surface using a soft, rubber squeegee. Two (2) applications of Pacecourt colour coat, minimum are necessary and should be at 90° angles. The final coat should pulled parallel to the net.

Coverage
