Court Maintenance

What To Do For Court Maintenance

Many individuals are confused when it comes to maintaining their sports courts. This article will help you comprehend how to take care of your court because Pacecourt receives several inquiries regarding court maintenance and cares about their clients. You must understand court maintenance in order to function properly. To improve the quality of life for your synthetic court, every owner must be aware of this. Let us discuss some key points for sports court maintenance:-  The court should not be used while it is wet:  When the court is newly installed, the surface is wet due to the binder. Binder is a glue that helps the layers stick to one another. Binder absorbs water and takes 14 days to absorb, so it is not recommended to play on the court for 14 days. The grains that give the surface its texture can be rubbed loose when played on when damp. Trimmed around the court: To avoid damage caused by grass/weed encroachment, keep a border of at least 20 cm around the court trimmed. Not too tense a pole: The tennis net cable shouldn’t be overly tightened; the pole can be up to 3 feet. To handle the pole, 100mm of PCC (Plain Cement Concrete) will be used. Avoid overtightening the net cable by no more than 400 mm because doing so could cause the net poles to flex inward and crack at the base of the poles. Cleanup of the court: We recommend that you clean the court at least once a week. It is important for your court to be cleaned on time; otherwise, your court may be damaged, as it is recommended that stones on a court can damage the court, so cleaning it once a week is required.  Use wiper   After a rain, the court will become wet. However, using a squeegee (Big Size Wiper) helps quicken the drying process. This is crucial to accomplish because if rainwater is left in a court, there is a chance that the court will absorb the water and get damaged. Avoid hitting the court with racquets   We may become angry while playing the game, and as a result, there is a potential that the racquets may barely touch the court, which could cause harm. Bird droppings & spillage  When there have been bird droppings or other spillages on the court surface, it is best to wash these blemishes away as soon as possible. Pacecourt advises all of its customers that if your court is under a tree branch, you must remove that branch because if a bird drops on the court and you forget to wash it or delay washing it, your court may be damaged. Overhanging branches, in addition to encouraging bird droppings and being unsightly, may cause those areas to remain damp, providing an excellent medium for algae growth, which is harmful to the surface. Trees and shrubs  Because of their encroaching roots, some trees and plants can harm the court’s surface. Pacecourt suggests that no trees or branches be planted close to the court. It will facilitate the court’s maintenance. Tennis shoes Tennis flooring shoes must be used because they are light and exclusively designed for sporting events. Other shoes are bulky and heavy, which could damage or destroy the court.  Vehicles should not be ridden It is forbidden to ride or use bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, or other vehicles on the court.  Use flat surfaces for heavy machines To avoid denting or damaging the court when using an umpire’s chair or ball machine, a flat board, such as a hardboard, must be placed underneath the sharp surface. No land-based surface water Make sure that no surface water from the land around the court accumulates behind retaining walls or runs onto it. Keep away from the garden beds near the retaining walls. Guess what? You can now download this maintenance sheet and use it to your advantage. As we come to a close with this blog, let me provide some information about Pacecourt. Acrylic Resurfacer

What is the use of Acrylic Resurfacer

Acrylic Resurfacer is the second step in building a court; the first step is to apply Primer. Pacecourt Resurfacer is an essential product to use; let us now discuss how Acrylic resurfacer can benefit the court.  Every court needs to be sufficiently smooth and free of uneven pavement. To put it simply, primer fills in small gaps while resurfacer levels the surface properly. For instance, if the base has both small and large holes, the primer will fill in the smaller ones while the resurfacer will fill in the larger ones and level the base, One question arises: why use a primer if the resurfacer fills the gaps and levels the surface? Read this blog to learn more about why pacecourt primer is important in concrete. Pacecourt Acrylic Resurfacer, which is 100% acrylic-based and contains a selection of fillers and fibers that smooths the surface. The resurfacer is blended with two ingredients: silica sand and cement. When coupled with silica sand, resurfacer is designed as an acrylic filler; when combined with cement, it is designed as an acrylic fiber coat, and perhaps most importantly, there is no lead, mercury, or asbestos in acrylic resurfacer. Lead, mercury, and asbestos are all harmful chemicals that can be used to increase the beauty of a court but are bad for it over the long term. However, pacecourt manufactures products that can still enhance a court’s aesthetic without using these harmful chemicals, which explains why a court made of pacecourt materials is durable. Surface Preparation  After the base is ready, the next step will be to apply pacecourt acrylic concrete primer as previously discussed. Using a primer is very important due to the bond between the surface and the court, and the surface must be clean, free of all dirt and dust, as well as other things like pins, nails, stones, etc., and must be dry before applying. The surface takes 30 days to dry. Before applying any coating, the entire surface must be saturated with water to check for any depressions that are 1/16″ or larger. Applying a pacecourt deep patch for undulation is the initial step if a surface depression of 10-15mm has been discovered. For more information on deep patch, visit this blog. If the surface depression is between 3 and 4mm, the same method will be used to apply primer first, then resurfacer.  Acrylic resurfacer can also be used to fill small depressions (⅛” or less) by combining 1 part of Acrylic Resurfacer with Pacecourt silica sand. If necessary, add a small amount of water to achieve workability. Installation  Once the patching is finished, the surface will receive 1-2 applications of pacecourt acrylic resurfacer. After adding water and silica sand, the acrylic resurfacer must be thoroughly mixed until the material is consistent. The amount and size of the sand can be adjusted to achieve different textures and filling properties. Larger sand will have better filling properties. A soft, rubber squeegee should be used to apply the mixed product to the surface. The finished surface must be uniform in appearance and free of ridges and tool marks. If more than one application is used, the second application should be at a 90° angle to the first application. Depending on the weather, acrylic resurfacer takes 6 to 12 hours to dry. Mixture  50KG of Pacecourt Acrylic Resurfacer 40KG Cement 50KG of Pacecourt Silica Sand Clean drinking water @ 1.10 KG/Sqm. Coverage  Pacecourt Acrylic Resurfacer coverage is approximately 0.29 – 0.40 KG/m2 per undiluted application. Depending on the porosity or texture of the pavement, coverage may vary. In the end Since pacecourt is a well-known brand for sports flooring, you won’t find the same quality material anywhere else. If you need samples or have other questions, contact us and one of our experts will be happy to help you.

Importance Of Primer

Why Pacecourt Primer Is So Important In Concrete?

Pacecourt Primer is an essential product to use when constructing a court on a concrete base. The installation of a new court requires a properly considered method. I’ll explain why floor preparation using a pacecourt primer is essential for saving your time, effort, and money. Examine the importance of concrete primer. A primer comes with a number of benefits. If you want your flooring to have the best adhesion and durability over time, use a primer. For additional information on Concrete Acrylic Primer, you can also read our previous blog. There is only one term that comes to mind when discussing primer: bond, as in the bond between the primer and the surface.  Let us discuss and see images of some important points that every owner who wants to build a court should be aware of. Adhesion –   The pacecourt primer absorbs the substrate, allowing the floor overlay to bond to it. Floor primer ensures that the acrylic flooring overlays adhere to the substrate better. As a result, your floor will last longer and there will be less chance of the coat breaking or chipping. The court can be torn out if the pacecourt primer isn’t used, as this picture shows. Reduces Emerging of Bubbles Using a pacecourt primer will significantly minimize the bubble appearing chances in the coat, where air locked in the concrete slab might generate bubbles of gas and holes in your coating. So, by properly priming and closing off the substrate, then you’re minimizing the risk of gas and air released.  As you can see in this image, If the pacecourt primer is not used, bubbles will appear.    Reduces Absorption Priming reduces the possibility of the products absorbed by the surface. Some surfaces are drier than others. As a result, if you try to apply a coat to it, you may end up with a dull finish because the surface has absorbed all of the liquids. That is why, before applying other products, you must use a primer to seal off the surface. When no primer used, the court will appear dull, as shown in the image below. Wrapping up –   Many people make this mistake because they are unaware of the Importance of primer. I hope this blog post has informed you how crucial pacecourt primer is while building a court, get in touch with us to get primer at a reasonable price.

Sports flooring manufacturer

Sports Flooring Manufacturer

When it comes to purchasing materials for my court, I prefer to order directly from a manufacturer who produces high-quality synthetic flooring materials and sells them at a reasonable price, because any other company that sells the same product at a high price is also purchasing the material from the sports flooring manufacturer and selling it to us at a premium over what they paid for it. Price, Quality, and Quantity are three factors that are of concern to everyone. I prefer that the place where I buy my materials have these three qualities in their products. Everyone doesn’t possess these three qualities, but I can assure you that only Pacecourt possesses them in the sports flooring industry, Even pacecourt provides you with a variety of products for the long-term improvement of your court and delivers material on time with a guarantee.
